外出自粛だからこそ、自宅のガレージで自分自身で行える愛車の簡単メンテナンスのご紹介です。
今回はエアクリーナー編として、代表的な3車種をピックアップ、一緒に確認してみましょう！
先ずはEK9シビックタイプR、赤○がエアクリーナーBOXです。

Since quarantine is not the best time to go out, you can spend some time in your own garage doing some maintenance that you kept putting off.

This time let’s check the air cleaner on these 3 examples.

The first is EK9 Civic type R, and the air cleaner box is circled red.

工具不要のクリップタイプです。
この２つのクリップでカバーが固定されているので、これをはずすと簡単にエアクリーナーをチェックできます。

This one has only clips on it, and there are no other major details.

The cover of this one is attached with clips, therefore you just need to undo them to open it and check the air cleaner.

集塵している裏側は汚れがたまっています。
紙タイプのフィルターは洗浄できないので、こんな感じで汚れが目立つ時はポチっとオーダーして新品に交換です。

The black parts on the cleaner are the dust collected by the air filter.

The paper type filter that is shown on the photo, unfortunately, could not be washed and have to be replaced with a new one. The best thing to do is to order yourself a new filter and change it. Check the link below for the filter we offer!

BOX内は掃除機でホコリを取っておきましょう。

Use the vacuum cleaner to suck the dust from inside the air cleaner box.

こちらはCL7アコードユーロR、赤○部がBOXです。

This one is CL7 Accord EuroR, the air cleaner box is circled red.

こちらはボルト固定タイプ。
赤→のボルトが4本で固定されています。

This cover is attached with bolts. Red arrow are pointing on 4 bolts that are used to keep the cover on.

プラスの溝がありますがドライバーでの作業はなめやすいので8mmのソケットでの作業をおすすめします。

Instead of the driver, that might slip, use a ratchet handle with an 8mm socket instead for smooth extraction.

FK7シビックハッチバックのBOX赤○もボルト止めタイプです。こちらもソケットで４本はずして、

FK7 Civic hatchback also has the type of the box with 4 bolts that we need to undo first.

エアフロセンサーのカプラーと配線のクリップをはずし、

Undo the clip that connects the wire and take off the coupler from the air flow sensor.

ホースが付いたまま持ち上げればエアクリーナーがチェック可能です。

メーカーでは50,000ｋｍ毎の交換を推奨していますが使用環境によって交換時期は様々です。

自分自身で愛車のコンディションを定期的にチェックして安心、快適なカーライフを楽しんでください。

You can lift the cover having kept the hose attached and be able to check the air cleaner.

The maker usually recommends to change the air filter after every 50,000km, but conditions of use may vary and so could the frequency of the air cleaner maintenance.
